Ohlins Road & Track Car Sets

�hlins suspension product range for street cars that dramatically improves traction, handling and at the same time the comfort of the car. The shock absorbers are produced both in Japan and in Sweden with the specifications and development made in Sweden. The shocks are externally adjustable in rebound only, allowing the damping to be tuned to the individual preference of the driver. Dampers are fully serviceable, and can be revalved to suit individual requirements. Aimed at high performance cars that tend to be driven hard by their owners on the road, but also suitable for use in club level racing. Already available for many Japanese and European cars, and the range is expanding all the time.

TTX 36 2, 3 or 4-Way Adjustable Twin Tube Damper

The TTX 36 is available as a 2, 3 or 4-way adjustable damper (ranging from overall bump and overall rebound adjustment (2-way), to low speed bump, high speed bump, low speed rebound and high speed rebound 4-way adjustment). This new Twin Tube damper is based on the great success of the TTX40 damper, without utilising the through-rod technology of the TTX40, bringing the price into a much more affordable range for club level racers and professionals alike. Featuring a 36mm piston, twin tube technology, low gas pressure, and an externally clockable top eye. Due to the wide range of external adjustment, opening the shock for valve changing can be reduced to a minimum, and valve changes can be made very easily. Due to the pressure balanced design, the risk of cavitation is minimized and thus the dampers are able to run at minimal gas pressure, improving response, and reducing internal friction.

TTX 40 4-Way Adjustable Twin Tube Damper

4-way adjustable damper-low speed compression, high speed compression, low speed rebound and high speed rebound adjustment. This new Twin Tube damper has a 40 mm piston and a "through rod" shaft without any external gas reservoir. The top eye can easily be re-clocked without opening the damper. Due to the powerful external adjusters, opening the shock for valve changing can be reduced to a minimum. Sometimes new internal settings can be made even without taking the damper off the car. In the TTX40 the risk of cavitation is minimized and any reservoir valve is unnecessary. So, no balancing of reservoir damping to main piston damping has to be done to avoid cavitation and improve damping response. Maximum response will always occur. With no reservoir valve, the internal pressure of the damper unit will be kept to a minimum. The low amount of hysteresis results in excellent short stroke/high force performance. Also a very low gas pressure can be used, without any loss of damping performance.

TTX 46MT 4-Way Adjustable Twin Tube MacPherson Strut

4-way adjustable damper-low speed compression, high speed compression, low speed rebound and high speed rebound adjustment. The strut is a 46 mm type with a through rod of 30 mm. It is 4-way adjusted damper and all four adjusters work independently, high/low speed compression and high/low speed rebound. Approx. 40 clicks on the low speed and 50 clicks on the high speed, both on rebound and compression makes over 4.000.000 different settings on the standard strut. As it has a solid piston, all setting changes are made on the adjuster valves. This means that you don�t need to disassemble the shock to make a setting change; you just remove the valves and change the shims. It is possible to change the reservoir to point either front- or rearwards and down- or upwards if needed. Because of the TTX 46 struts unique design it�s possible to use similar strut on both left and right side. Use 60 mm springs for this TTX 46 McPherson strut. The strut is available in a range of applications from the BMW E46 and E90, Porsche 997 RSR to a Universal strut that is easy to adapt to various cars. Dynographs are made visible in the VRP program that is downloadable at www.ohlins.com. The strut is of a lightweight design, the weight is only 3.1kg for the entire strut.

40mm MacPherson Inverted Inserts

Available in single adjustable (Rebound adjustment only), 2-way (compression and rebound adjustment), and 3-way (low speed compression, high speed compression and rebound adjustment). To fit these inserts you will require suitable outer cases, unfortunately �hlins cannot always supply these so we can either modify the standard cases off of your car (only possible in certain applications) or produce a bespoke case for the application (possible on just about every application).
